چکیده

Consider the n-dimensional nonautonomous system x(t) = A(t)G(x(t)) B(t)F(x(t r(t))) Let ( ) J, 1. EM I i 1. EM . 1 F (j ' j n ) F U U"...,Un, a lmllull-a lIull' 00 Imllull-oo lIull' Z ,...,n, ,..., , amaxi=l,...,nUJ} and Foo = maxi=l,...,n{f~}. Under some quite general conditions, we prove that either Fa = 0 and F 00 = 00, or Fa = 00 and F 00 = 0, guarantee the existence of positive periodic solutions for the system for all A > O. Furthermore, we show t,hat Fa = F 00 = 0, or Fa = F 00 = 00 guarantee the multiplicity of positive periodic solutions for the system for sufficiently large, or small A, respectively. We also establish the nonexistence of the system when either Fa and F 00 > 0, or Fa and F 00 < 00 for sufficiently large, or small A, respectively. We shall use fixed point theorems in a cone.

ON THE EXISTENCE OF PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR CERTAIN NON-LINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

Here we consider some non-autonomous ordinary differential equations of order n and present some results and theorems on the existence of periodic solutions for them, which are sufficient conditions, section 1. Also we include generalizations of these results to vector differential equations and examinations of some practical examples by numerical simulation, section 2. For some special cases t...

Dhage iteration method for PBVPs of nonlinear first order hybrid integro-differential equations

In this paper, author proves the algorithms for the existence as well as the approximation of solutions to a couple of periodic boundary value problems of nonlinear first order ordinary integro-differential equations using operator theoretic techniques in a partially ordered metric space. The main results rely on the Dhage iteration method embodied in the recent hybrid fixed point theorems of D...

The Response of Two-Degree of Freedom Self-Sustained Systems with Quadratic Nonlinearities to a Parametric Excitation (RESEARCH NOTE)

In this study the interaction between self-excited and paramet rically excited oscillations in two-degree-of-freedom systems with quadratic nonlinearities is investigated. The fundamental parametric resonance of the first mode and 3:1 internal resonance is considered, followed by 1:2 internal and parametric resonances of the second mode. The method of multiple time scales is applied to derive f...

Positive periodic solutions of singular systems of first order ordinary differential equations

The existence and multiplicity of positive periodic solutions for first non-autonomous singular systems are established with superlinearity or sublinearity assumptions at infinity for an appropriately chosen parameter. The proof of our results is based on the Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem in a cone. 2011 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
